With rapid prototyping services in the Untitled Lab, we iterate quickly and conduct a feasibility study to be sure that we are going in the right direction to succeed on the market.

We have 14 years of creative approach in digital product & software development.

When working on web & mobile app projects, we often had to create simulators, test hardware solutions. And so it happened. We organically developed the competencies of electronic, mechanical, and industrial design.

Now, prototyping software and hardware, we test every idea, even the craziest ones. In the Untitled Lab is where the sky is the limit.

When creating unprecedented solutions, we assume the high risk and answer if an idea has a chance to be a successful MVP or a failure. That's why we need to test it in 4 ways:

fast - iteration after iteration,
low-cost - minding the budget,
actively - with as many tests, errors, and solutions as possible,
openly - inviting the users' feedback at every occasion.

RAPID PROTOTYPING PROCESS

HOW TO GO FROM SOFTWARE OR HARDWARE IDEA TO MVP

RESEARCH
The first stage of developing your idea: conducting competitor, scientific and technological research. And consulting with domain experts, potential users, and building initial theses to test in the next phases.
PROOF OF CONCEPT
After the research, let's begin developing a Proof of Concept (PoC). This is one of the smallest parts of the project, yet it's the key. It verifies if working further makes sense (and profits!). And if it doesn't? We investigate what technology COULD work.
PROTOTYPE
After the initial verification of theses and choosing a possible architecture, we go to software or hardware rapid prototyping. Checking if a given technology and architecture bring a desired result. Creating a prototype, where some parts might be simulated or mocked. A piece ready to conduct the first user tests.
FEASIBILITY STUDY
After checking how the prototype works, let's proceed to the second, complementary research, based on specific solutions. Checking the final parts and solutions, as well as technical and legal feasibility. Developing a roadmap and a risk analysis.
DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
In the next phase, let's iteratively approach the finished product. Carrying out tests on the design and the combination of software and hardware.
What can go wrong? Everything. And that's what is the most exciting.
EVT, DVT, PVT (hardware only)
In the penultimate phase (only for hardware), we go through Engineering Validation Test, Design Validation Test, and Production Validation Test. With each stage, we make more copies and test them, improving the product.
MVP

In the last phase, right after Production Validation Testing, we are ready to celebrate - - the first public release of Minimum Viable Product into the world!


It may be the end of the MVP development, but that's when the fun with product & software development just starts.
