Why not build a more accessible world by getting more people in cities on bikes?

Together with Beryl, we build an app that works on all devices – from low-end to high-end smartphones – and supports people at all levels of wealth. We made it stress-free, intuitive and guiding in any situational, psychological, or intellectual circumstance. So no one is left behind.

2012 Beryl started operating in 2012 by creating urban cycling products that have been adopted by key bike share schemes in London, New York, and Montreal. But they were always about more than cycling. In 2018, they launched their own bike share scheme.

2018 When we met in 2018, it was clear that Beryl is a true design and technology company. Beryl’s mission is to allow more people to ride bikes in cities. To make cities (and city air!) car-and-pollution-free. Our aim was to help them achieve that goal while creating a more intuitive technology that is easier to use.

Creating an easily scalable application in React Native that could be used by hundreds of thousands of people simultaneously.
Building a brand new app from scratch using React Native and minor native enhancements (especially in NFC technology) allowed us to build an app that works on all devices, from low-end to high-end smartphones.
Creating a mature architecture to develop additional features on the side of Beryl's growing in-house team.
Developing easier and more intuitive solutions to simplify the process of bike-sharing. With scalability and usability of the Beryl app as our focus.
Designing all the schemes of using Beryl. Considering all possible use cases that of using bicycles. Both at the Beryl stations and as stand-alone bikes.

But most importantly: Beryl is making a change (and making the Untitled Kingdom proud!) in 5 cities in the United Kingdom.

“I am more than happy we got to co-create with Untitled Kingdom. Beryl app and its design that we created were used in the initial trials as well as the final version of Beryl’s bike-sharing service. We are extremely pleased with the work their team did and they were a joy to cooperate with!”
